Curtain Bluff: Why You Should Go!

by admin on March 14, 2009

.

My last post gave a few details on Curtain Bluff, but I thought I might add a list of reasons of why you should go to this Antigua resort! As silly as it sounds, Curtain Bluff is such a rewarding experience, whether you decide to go as a couple or as a family, you are sure to leave there feeling renewed, rejuvenated, and ready again for the real world.

1. Curtain Bluff has a series of two story buildings that line the beach, so every suite has a view of the ocean.

2. One side is the Atlantic and the other the Caribbean, one side is exciting while the other is calm. You can satisfy your need for adventure with snorkeling, sailing, and fishing and your need for tranquil relaxation just lying on the beach or swimming in the water.

3. Curtain Bluff is known for a 25,000-bottle cellar. One of the only things that you have to buy that isn’t included in the all inclusive package deal is wine by the bottle. You can buy bottles including 1983 Louis Roederer Cristal or an ‘83 bottle of Dom Perignon.

4. On Wednesdays, reggae is played at the beach party which is held at the bay beach. You can enjoy lunch in the privacy of your own suite, or eat at the beachfront restaurant, your choice, with both included in the price.

5. Tennis courts, lessons, clinics, round robins and tournaments abound on the four superbly maintained Laykold courts. If you are a Tennis lover, you will love Curtain Bluff!

6. Tropical flowers such as bougainvillea, hibiscus, oleander,  and royal palms line the walkways and buildings and fall from trellises and walls. The sites and smells of the resort are very pleasing to the senses.

7. There is plenty to do for all ages!

I am sure this is a meager list, but to say the least, I am very impressed with what Curtain Bluff has to offer vacationers. Among the many Antigua resorts, this one has been rated as one of the top Caribbean resorts for over the last four decades and renews itself every year to remain new and crisp feeling.
