Antigua: Curtain Bluff

by admin

.

Curtain Bluff is located on Antigua’s south shore on a private peninsula that juts out into the sea. It can be a very romantic place for your honeymoon or for a vacation with your significant other. You can dance under the stars, relax in a hammock made for two on your own private patio if you get the executive suite, or take in the breathtaking views of the ocean.

This Antigua Resort has 63 rooms and suites with king sized beds. All of the rooms have a terrace and overlook the sea. One of the most romantic suites is The Terrace Room. If you are looking for a peaceful and serene getaway that makes you feel like you are days away from real life, Curtain Bluff is the perfect destination. While it caters to all ages, it specifically has that romantic feel that many couples are looking for when they are looking for a private retreat.

There is a dress code with jackets required for dinner and ties optional. This adds to the feel and ambiance of the place, as dining takes place on the open terrace where a live band plays every night. Both American and European cuisine are served, and fresh fish is delivered daily and filleted right on the property.

The waters around the peninsula offer a little of something for everyone: snorkeling, swimming, sailing, or just relax on the beach. On the Atlantic side there is more surf.

One thing to keep in mind is that Curtain Bluff is closed mid-May through October, so it is best to plan a holiday vacation, or an early Spring vacation when you are considering Antigua vacation packages that may be available to you.

It may be a bumpy and windy ride from the airport to get you to the Curtain Bluff resort, but once there, you will be taken away by its beauty, serenity, and service. Curtain Bluff has actually been rated as one of the top Caribbean resorts for over 40 years! The reviews of th place are phenomenal. The all inclusive packages include everything even scuba diving and deep-sea fishing! Now, who can beat that. You honestly cannot go wrong with a trip to Curtain Bluff!
